Jayco, Inc. was founded in 1968 by a man of strong faith and vision. The late Lloyd J. Bontrager, family man and inventor, felt he could build the world a better RV. He longed to create a company of his own, one that clearly reflected his ideals: a company where everyone would be treated as "family".

Jayco's beginnings started out in a barn, and it was there that the first Jayco pop-up camper was created.  With a well designed lifter system, and the Amish craftsmanship, Jayco quickly established itself as brand customers could count on. 

Since the first pop-up camper was produced in 1968, Jayco has grown to be a full line RV manufacturer offering everything from the pop-up camper, to travel trailers, fifth wheels, hybrid trailers, toy haulers, Class A, Class C, and diesel pusher motorhomes.

Today, with more than 1,500 employees, and 25,000 new Jayco owners each year; Jayco is one of the largest RV manufacturers in the world.
