There comes a time in every RVer’s life that they must face an unrelenting urge from within. That feeling is the need to express themselves. Not just in the clothes they wear or music they listen to but in the space they travel in. If you haven’t added personal touches to your RV, it’s time to make it your own! All throughout the inside is the opportunity to give it personality. Here are some tips on how to turn your motorhome into a reflection of you.
Walls
There are a ton of ways to add color and warmth to any space by means of wall space. Perhaps,at first thought, you don’t see much wall because of cabinets and other storage spots. Walls don’t just consist of empty space, though. Consider the space between the cabinets and counters, in the seating areas, and in the rooms. Adding colorful or themed wallpaper could change the look and feel of any room in an instant. Maybe a new backsplash in the kitchen or tiles in the bathroom would do the trick. Envision your favorite patterns and head to your local home improvement store. There are so many swatches to choose from and samples you can take back to your motorhome to test out.
Floors
Have your wood floors lost their luster? Have the pieces in your bathroom gone dull? Similar to walls, you can check out all kinds of designs at the flooring department. Typically, carpet in the entrance gets worn out before anything else. All that traction will have an impact over time. If you change to carpet, or even get wood, make sure to protect your new additions with floor mats. They come in clear or color for that extra bit of personalization.
